The UEFA Europa League returns to action this Thursday, a fortnight after Valencia CF's triumphant derby win over Villarreal CF at the quarter final stage. The team will travel to the Emirates Stadium this week for their first semifinal encounter against Arsenal, and they will do so accompanied by 820 away supporters.
The fans will gather from places around the continent, with 55 representatives from international VCF Supporters Groups and 250 fans resident in England already having reserved their tickets.
Valencia CF take on opposition coached by a familiar face, as Arsenal boss Unai Emery took charge of the side for four seasons from 2008 to 2012. The Gunners reached this stage of the Europa League thanks to five wins in the competition, against Vorskla, Qarabag, BATE Borisov, Rennes and Napoli) and a draw against Sporting CP. Valencia CF's away record in the European competition has seen them eliminate Celtic FC, FC Krasnodar and Villarreal CF.
The game kicks off at 8pm local time, 9pm CEST.
